My client is a growing medical device company building implantable technology that changes the course of treatment for a serious, widespread condition. As electrical engineer, you will design the analog and embedded circuits at the heart of devices that directly improve patients' lives, working alongside a small, hands-on engineering team with real ownership over their projects.

Why you should apply

  • Your design work directly shapes devices that improve and extend patients' lives
  • Small, collaborative engineering team with real autonomy over your projects
  • Full medical benefits, 100% employer covered for you and your family
  • 401k match up to 6%, paid vacation, floating holidays, and sick time
  • Annual bonus eligibility

What you'll be doing

  • Design analog and embedded electronic circuit assemblies for market-ready products and internal development tools
  • Capture schematics and layout printed circuit boards
  • Specify or develop firmware for testing and internal development tools
  • Assemble and bring up prototype circuit assemblies
  • Coordinate technical aspects of projects with other engineers and outside development groups
  • Test and document your work to the standard required for regulatory submission

About you

  • Be able to do the job as described
  • Primary experience designing analog and embedded electronics
  • Comfortable using electronic test equipment for development and test of electronics
  • Thrive in a self-driven, start-up-like environment juggling multiple projects at once
  • Background in medical devices, instrumentation, or other high-reliability, regulated fields is a plus
