Job Description
A well-established MEP Engineering firm located in Towson, MD is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. This person will be responsible for the analysis, design and review of electrical systems. This includes drawings, specifications, reports, cost estimates and similar products and services. Electrical systems generally include power, lighting, communication, electronic security, and fire alarm systems. Duties include: Preparing electrical design solutions using a thorough knowledge of industry and constructability practices; Utilizing CADD, BIM/Revit, AGI32, SKM, Microsoft Office products, and other industry software; Conducting field surveys and cost estimating; Executing construction phase review services consisting of submittal review, RFI responses, and changes. Job requirements: BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent; 4+ years of experience; PE Licensed (desired); 7 years of experience in the design of building related electrical infrastructure.
