Our team members are motivated individuals that do remarkable things every day!Position Summary:AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in McCalla, AL that specializes in custom marine vessel constructions.We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to lead the design and commissioning of custom electrical projects. This role requires a hands-on engineer capable of executing complex assignments from concept through implementation, with direct involvement in design, testing, installation, and startup.Essential Functions:Lead the electrical design of custom projects, including power distribution, control systems, and wiring schematics.Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and layouts using CAD or other design software.Select and specify electrical components and equipment to meet project requirements.Oversee or assist with the programming and integration of control systems (PLC/HMI) when applicable.Lead or support the commissioning process, including system testing, troubleshooting, and validation.Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.Ensure compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and customer requirements.Provide technical support during and after project execution, including documentation and training as needed.Travel to customer sites for commissioning, system integration, and troubleshooting (as required).Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.3–7 years of experience in electrical design and project execution, preferably in custom or industrial systems.Proficient in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).Experience with electrical system commissioning and troubleshooting.Familiarity with control systems, instrumentation, and PLC/HMI programming a plus.Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.Ability to travel to project sites as needed (domestic and/or international).
