The Panther Group is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to support advanced programs within Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors.

This role focuses on the design, development, and testing of high-reliability electrical systems, including launcher systems, digital/mixed signal design, and FPGA development. You’ll work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment supporting mission-critical defense technologies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems and subsystems for advanced defense applications
  • Support launcher electrical system design, including:
    • System architecture
    • Component selection (COTS and custom hardware)
    • Chassis/enclosure requirements
  • Perform digital and mixed-signal circuit design and troubleshooting
  • Develop and support FPGA designs using VHDL or Verilog
  • Utilize LabVIEW for testing, data acquisition, or system validation
  • Conduct testing, integration, and validation of electrical systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Systems Engineering
    • Manufacturing and Test teams
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering (defense or high-reliability environments preferred)
  • Strong experience with:
    • Digital and mixed-signal design
    • FPGA development (VHDL or Verilog)
    • Troubleshooting complex electronic systems
  • Experience working with:
    • High-reliability or military systems
  • Familiarity with:
    • LabVIEW
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance if required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, or high-reliability electronics
  • Experience with:
    • System-level design and integration
    • Electronic packaging or enclosure design coordination
  • Prior experience supporting weapon systems or sensor systems
Pay up to $80-$110 per hour DOE
