Ideal candidates will be strongly motivated, well organized, professional, and capable of taking ownership of assignments while working independently and as part of the project team.Essential FunctionsProvide engineering, design work and drafting of plansImplement approved system concepts from a schematic diagram to floor plansSketch rough layouts to review with Project Engineer or Project ManagerReview product cut sheets and technical informationCommunicate with Project Manager/Project Engineer regarding potential problemsMeet with vendors to determine spatial requirements for the application of the productAttend meetings as requiredWork to submit the required documentation per project deadlines and milestonesDevelop a strategy to meet the project's scheduleAssist in the development of engineering systems concepts (M/E)Assist the design team on major design issuesResponsible for organizing required technical correspondence, emails, and calculationsPerform fieldwork and verification of existing conditionsRevit and AutoCAD proficiency is a requirementEssential Job Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenGood understanding of engineering concepts, design, and spatial requirementsPositive attitude, results‑driven and team‑orientedAble to think three‑dimensionallyCapable of visiting job sites to perform fieldworkAble to manage time to meet deadlinesMinimum QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringEIT requiredPE license preferred5–10 years of experience in healthcare and/or institutional designWe offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Life, and Disability insurance coverage, a 401(k) plan match, generous paid time‑off, and more, to all our full‑time employees.Salary Range for 5-10 year of experience: $90,000 - $125,000BR+A is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
