Job Summary:

Were seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team, specializing in medium voltage electrical systems, panel design, automation, and integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing control system hardware using Allen-Bradley controls. Experience in chemical plant or industrial gas operations is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement medium voltage electrical systems, including panel design and layout • Develop and implement automation and control systems using Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI, and SCADA systems • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and automation systems • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing electrical infrastructure and identify opportunities for improvement • Develop and maintain electrical design documentation, including schematics, one-line diagrams, equipment load estimation, and panel layouts • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues, including fault analysis and repair • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, including NFPA, NEMA, NEC, and IEEC • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to specify/procure electrical equipment and materials

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on medium voltage systems and automation • 3+ years of experience with Allen-Bradley controls, including PLCs, HMI, and SCADA systems, medium voltage circuit design • 3+ years of experience with panel design and layout, including electrical schematics and one-line diagrams • 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD, ProfiCAD, or equivalent design software • Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards, including NFPA, NEC, NEMA, IEEC

Requirements:

• Must be within 1 hour commute from Oviedo, Florida site. Relocation assistance provided. • Must be authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorship available.

Additional Skills Preferred but not required:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Chemical plant experience preferred, but not required • Ability to interpret P&IDs and process flow diagrams • Experience with other automation platforms, such as Siemens or GE • Knowledge of process control systems and instrumentation • Experience with project management and team leadership

Physical Requirements:

• This position requires using hands to troubleshoot equipment, close vision and dexterity with fingers • This position requires an individual to sit, stand, and move about the facility • Ability to lift 40lbs
