Electrical Engineer (PE) - HydropowerJob ID: 189444ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the work of the power design team through the schematic design development and contract document phase of a projectEstablish meetings and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceCoordinate workload to complete the deliverable on schedule.Conduct work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplinesReview project documents for areas of conflict with other disciplines.Write and edit project specificationsCoordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, requests for information (RFIs), change orders (COs), and take responsibility to incorporate agreed‑upon changes into the project documentsProvide construction contract administration as neededConduct QA/QC on the work of other Engineers, Project Coordinators or Designers, or BIM Technicians as neededPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications6+ years' experience doing detailed electrical design work required.Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm and hydropower generation is highly preferred.Experience with any software for data analysis is preferred, particularly related to electrical engineering.Experience with software packages including SKM Power tools for Windows, EasyPower, Matlab, and Visual Basic.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) licensePrevious experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.Computer skills in Microsoft Office as well as standard Power Market Sector design software.
