Core Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical equipment layouts, single lines, wiring diagrams, cable tray, lighting, and grounding drawings
  • Generate electrical equipment and construction specifications in accordance with NEC and industry standards
  • Perform power studies including short circuit analysis and incident energy calculations using ETAP or SKM software
  • Serve as main point of contact for electrical discipline with project managers, discipline leads, and clients
  • Provide quality oversight for electrical designs and mentor less experienced engineers

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering with industrial or manufacturing project experience
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (NFPA/NEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, API, ASI)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ability to perform field/site visits
