Electrical Engineer, PE

Description

Seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer with 5-8 years of consulting engineering experience to support electrical design and project management activities across a variety of commercial, institutional, healthcare, manufacturing, federal, higher education, and technology-focused projects. This position offers significant client interaction, project ownership, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Design lighting, power, and electrical distribution systems
  • Produce engineering calculations and technical documentation
  • Develop construction drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Conduct site investigations and field verification
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, and engineering disciplines
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and invoicing
  • Support proposal and fee development efforts
  • Lead multiple concurrent projects
  • Ensure code compliance with NEC, IBC, IECC, and local requirements
  • Load calculations
  • Voltage drop calculations
  • Short circuit studies
  • Photometric calculations

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
  • Active PE License
  • 5+ years electrical consulting engineering experience
  • Lighting and power systems design experience
  • Revit and AutoCAD proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
