Electrical Engineer – Robotics | Pittsburgh, PA

Work on cutting-edge robotic systems in a fast-paced, innovative environment!

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for advanced robotic platforms. If you enjoy working on real-world automation projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams this role is for you.
 

What You’ll Do

  • Design industrial electrical systems based on project requirements
  • Create schematics & drawings (panels, power distribution, I/O, networking, safety circuits)
  • Develop and manage Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Perform electrical calculations (breakers, cables, wire sizing, etc.)
  • Work closely with mechanical, controls, and software teams
  • Support build, testing, troubleshooting, and installations (including onsite when needed)
  • Manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical design
  • Experience with EPLAN or similar electrical design software
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • 480 VAC power systems
    • DC systems
    • Industrial safety standards (NFPA)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
