Job Title: Electrical Engineer PLC Programming

Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineer PLC Programming is responsible for supporting manufacturing and production operations through hands-on electrical troubleshooting, PLC programming, and system optimization. This role focuses on maintaining and improving automated systems, minimizing downtime, and ensuring efficient production processes in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems in a production environment
Analyze and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control systems
Perform troubleshooting and repair of circuit boards and electrical components
Provide real-time support to production teams to resolve technical issues
Conduct system testing, validation, and console-level diagnostics
Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment failures
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and engineering
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards on the shop floor
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)
3+ years of experience in PLC programming within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and wiring systems
Hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems
Experience with circuit board debugging and system-level diagnostics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley or Siemens
Prior experience working in a high-volume production or industrial environment
Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies
Salary:
The hourly rate for this position is $38 - $40/hour (W2).
