Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Power Distribution

Position Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in power distribution who thrives in a fast-paced, design-build environment and wants to see projects move quickly from concept to execution. This position focuses on the design and support of low-voltage power distribution equipment, with a strong emphasis on UL 891 switchboards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and engineer UL 891 switchboards and power distribution systems
Create electrical schematics, layouts, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Ensure designs meet UL, NEC, and applicable industry standards
Support manufacturing, testing, and UL inspection processes
Provide technical support for custom and client-specific projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Hands-on experience with power distribution systems and related equipment
Working knowledge of NEC and UL standards
Direct experience with UL 891 switchboards required
Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar electrical design software
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, design-build environment
Preferred Experience
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Background supporting production, testing, or field implementation of electrical systems
Work Environment
