Job Details

  • Position: Electrical Engineer

  • Payrate: $120k-$200k DOE

  • Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri

  • Location: Asheboro, NC

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage power engineering projects from initiation through completion

  • Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation across multiple projects

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring strong relationships and delivery excellence

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams across substations, transmission, and distribution projects

  • Review and approve technical designs, specifications, and deliverables

  • Support proposal development, project scoping, and business development efforts

  • Provide mentorship and leadership to engineering and project teams

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality expectations

 

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 9+ years of experience in a power engineering environment

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

  • Strong background in utility-scale power systems (substations, T&D, etc.)

  • Proven experience managing complex engineering projects and client relationships

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
