    Now Hiring: Electrical Engineer – Contract to Hire | Redmond, WA |We have an excellent Contract opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a leading aerospace and defense company located in Redmond, WA .If you're interested, you can schedule time directly with me here:Requirement: US Citizenship is requiredAbout the Role In this role, you will contribute to the development of advanced electronics used in spacecraft power and electric propulsion systems, as well as systems operating in challenging environments across land, sea, air, and space. You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, system, test, and program management teams and participate in every stage of the product lifecycle—from concept and design through testing, production, and follow‑on support.You will work on power systems ranging from tens of watts to hundreds of kilowatts, involving power electronics, low‑voltage analog, high‑voltage analog, mixed signal, and digital circuitry.Job Responsibilities Perform detailed circuit design, including architecture, analysis, simulations, and PCB layout oversight.Execute initial power‑up, verification, integration, and troubleshooting of new circuit board designs.Support production activities to ensure successful hardware delivery.Basic Hiring Criteria Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, orGraduate degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, orA minimum of 13 years of experience in lieu of a degree.Desired Qualifications Expertise in DC‑DC converter and power converter design.Proficiency in analog, digital, power, and mixed‑signal circuit design.Experience using simulation tools (LT Spice, PSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar).Proficiency with PCB design software such as Altium Designer or Mentor Graphics.Ability to use lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and electronic loads.Experience overseeing PCB layout.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.Experience mentoring early‑career engineers.If you're interested in learning more or would like to apply, please schedule a conversation with me here:
