    Description

    Electrical Engineer - Reliability Summary:The Electrical Reliability Engineer will be responsible for improving and sustaining electrical system reliability across industrial midstream facilities and assets. This role involves collaborating with maintenance teams, operations, and engineering to develop and implement reliability strategies for electrical assets.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead reliability initiatives for electrical systems, identifying and mitigating failure risks.Develop and oversee predictive and preventive maintenance programs for critical electrical assets.Support maintenance and operations teams with technical expertise on electrical system performance.Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on electrical equipment failures and develop corrective actions.Coordinate electrical system upgrades, modifications, and commissioning activities.Collaborate with utility providers, vendors, and contractors to optimize electrical infrastructure.Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.Maintain asset health data and drive improvements in system reliability and availability.Provide training and mentorship to maintenance and operations personnel.Technical Expertise:Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, including switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, and electric motors.Familiarity with electrical safety standards.Ability to interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and control schematics.Understanding of electrical system studies, including arc flash analysis and load flow assessments.Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.Experience in electrical reliability, maintenance, and project management within industrial environments such as midstream, petrochemical, or manufacturing.Opportunities available at multiple levels of seniority, ranging from early-career (2+ years) to mid-level (5–10 years) and senior-level (10+ years) professionals.Unfortunately, this role cannot sponsor or petition for temporary visa status.Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Industries: Oil and Gas and Chemical Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
