We are looking for a proficient expert in circuit and systems engineering with substantial experience in designing analog/mixed-signal circuits, motion control systems, and power electronics. Our company is expanding rapidly, and we have two available positions tailored to accommodate varying levels of experience and expertise. These roles require physical presence at our Long Island headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Innovate and refine hardware for analog/mixed-signal and motion control applications.
• Engage in comprehensive product development, spanning requirement analysis to design, verification, and production support.
• Execute circuit simulations, handle testing and troubleshooting, and optimize designs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve precise and timely project outcomes.
• Enhance existing products while spearheading innovations in new product development and ongoing improvement efforts.
• Senior professionals will assume leadership roles, mentoring junior colleagues, facilitating project planning, and making crucial technical decisions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required, Master’s Degree preferred for advanced positions.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience for the Engineer role, and 7 years or more for the Senior Engineer position.
• Expertise in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, involving A/D and D/A converters, signal conditioners, amplifiers, filters, oscillators, and control circuits.
• Acumen in power electronics-related fields, including DC/DC converters and motor drive circuits leveraging technologies like MOSFET, IGBT, SiC, or GaN.
• Familiarity with motion control systems, encompassing BLDC motor control, feedback devices, and control theory.
• Proficiency in using analog/mixed-signal ASIC design tools and circuit design software like LTspice, PSpice, OrCAD, or Allegro.
• Preferred knowledge in thermal analysis, EMI, reliability, and worst-case design assessment.
• Must meet U.S. Person status requirements or be eligible to obtain necessary U.S. export authorization.
