Description
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and safety of electrical systems for critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and a focus on safety and compliance. This position is accepting applications for Houston, TX and Tulsa, OK Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and optimize electrical systems and power distribution networks.
Integrate advanced technologies such as automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage.
Implement safety measures including arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems.
Provide expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts.
Manage engineering projects from concept to completion while meeting budgets and timelines.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions.
Mentor junior engineers to support technical growth and continuous improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must Have Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
8+ years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industries.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with safety as a top priority.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general PC skills.
Experience reviewing arc flash studies and implementing improvements.
Knowledge of electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE).
Nice to Have Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) License.
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
Project Management experience.
Experience with Pre-FEED, FEED, or EPC projects for small to medium facilities.
Proficiency in designing and implementing instrumentation systems, including PLCs and HMIs.
