Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Leading the design of packages and stations to ensure specifications and performance metrics are met as outlined by the Director of Fleet & Capital Purchasing, Stations Construction Group, customers, and industry standards
Reviewing and approving field evaluations to measure and record compression unit and station performance, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
Identifying, diagnosing, and leading resolution efforts for inefficiencies or malfunctions in compression units and station systems
Reviewing and approving drawings by designers and/or vendors to ensure stations and compression units meet Kodiak design criteria and applicable industry standards
Providing technical guidance and oversight to engineers and designers in the development of electrical and control system designs
Collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Construction teams to ensure that customer requirements and special provisions are effectively incorporated into station and package designs
Supporting project execution by contributing to scope development, timelines, and design reviews
Leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for system or equipment failures
Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, efficiency, and cost optimization
Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety, and engineering standards (e.g., ASME, NEC, B31.3, B31.8)
Attending all required Kodiak safety trainings and ensuring adherence to all Kodiak safety requirements
Promoting and reinforcing a strong safety culture for both yourself and fellow Kodiak employees
Mentoring and developing entry-level and junior engineers
