QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. 

Experience 
• 5+ years of experience in automotive electrical or electronic systems development. 
• Experience managing engineering projects or technical programs in a Tier-1 automotive 
environment. 
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional engineering teams and customer deliverables. 

Technical Skills 
• Automotive electrical architecture and system integration 
• Electronic hardware fundamentals and PCB systems 
• Vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) 
• System validation and debugging 
• Project planning and program coordination 
• Engineering documentation and change management 

Preferred Qualifications 
• Experience with automotive displays, clusters, ADAS modules, or safety electronics. 
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety. 
• Experience with automotive development tools such as CAN analyzers and system diagnostic 
tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities 

Electrical Systems Engineering 
• Understand and define electrical system architecture for automotive products such as displays, 
clusters, electronic modules, and integrated systems. 
• Create electrical schematics, system block diagrams, and interface specifications. 
• Support component selection including connectors, wiring harness interfaces, PCBs, and 
electronic components. 
• Work closely with hardware, software, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure system 
integration. 

Program & Project Management 
• Lead engineering programs from concept through production launch. 
• Develop and manage program timelines, deliverables, and engineering milestones. 
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply 
chain. 
• Track program status, risks, and mitigation plans while ensuring adherence to customer timing. 
• Manage engineering change requests, scope adjustments, and cost impacts. 

Customer & OEM Interface 
• Serve as the primary technical and program interface with OEM engineering and program teams. 
• Lead technical reviews, design reviews, and program status meetings with customers. 
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and vehicle integration requirements. 
• Support customer deliverables including system documentation, validation reports, and 
technical presentations. 

Testing, Validation & Launch 
• Develop system validation plans and test procedures. 
• Coordinate DV/PV testing, EMC testing, and vehicle integration activities.

• Support prototype builds and pilot production. 
• Troubleshoot system issues during development, vehicle testing, and production launch. 

Quality & Automotive Development Process 
• Support APQP development processes and engineering milestones. 
• Participate in DFMEA, design reviews, and risk assessments. 
• Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and documentation requirements.

Position Overview 

BArdor is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Systems Engineer / Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of automotive electronic systems for Tier-1 programs. This role combines hands-on electrical systems engineering with program and customer management responsibilities, ensuring that technical solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with automotive quality and performance standards.
