Electrical Engineer - Surge Protection

Location: North Charleston, SC
Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Electrical Engineer - Surge Protection

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree; preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• Product development experience in an electronic / electrical manufacturing environment
• Design experience in one of the following product segments:
• • Power, energy, defense, industrial automation and/or control industries
  • Telecommunications, RF applications & testing and DC circuits
  • Prior experience in the design of Surge Protection Devices will be a plus
• Analog and digital electronic design and schematic capture
• Experience with embedded microcontroller designs, ICE and IDE development tools and C programming.
• Strong organizational and time management skills and an ability to adapt to changing requirements and circumstances
• Strong verbal presentation, writing and computer application skills  
• An able to simultaneously manage several objectives and changing priorities
• An ability to interpret a multitude of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Willingness to work in a cooperative and effective manner while under pressure to meet deadlines
