Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners.HII Mission Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Syracuse, NY.In this role, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to design innovative technical solutions and execute project scope under the guidance of a team leader. You will be responsible for translating functional requirements into robust designs and validating that those designs meet all performance and project constraints.The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of digital processing algorithms and demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, creativity and technical discipline. Success in this position requires the ability to work independently, follow leadership direction, and deliver high‑quality results within defined timelines.Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, software systems, and networks.Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.Apply sound technical principles, theories, and concepts to assigned work.Create solutions to challenging technical problems in a team environment using engineering processes and toolsets.Minimum Qualifications0 years experience and Bachelor's in a related field.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with leadership and peers.A team player with the ability to participate in cross‑functional teams, communicate with team members, and coordinate work with others to reach a common goal.Willingness to travel for external testing events and customer demonstrations.Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.Preferred RequirementsAttitude of positivity and constant self‑improvement that inspires and motivates others.Experience in RADAR, Electronic Warfare, and/or Wireless Communications.Experience in one or more of the following involving performant processing: FPGAs, GPUs, CPUs, digital filters, high‑speed ADCs/DACs, complex mixed‑signal PCB design.Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.Experience with C/C++/OpenCL and scripting languages such as Tcl, Python.Knowledge of programmable logic and embedded processor techniques, solutions, and toolsets.Physical RequirementsMay require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment.
