Build your future with a consulting engineering team known for quality, collaboration, and impactful work across the U.S. In this Electrical Engineer opportunity, you’ll design and coordinate electrical systems for aviation and other high-profile facilities from our Tampa location, with a culture that values excellence and professionalism.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Engineer position include:
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering design of commercial buildings, preferably in aviation, higher education, health care, hospitality, entertainment, or governmental facilities.
- Determine the scope of assigned projects and create electrical system designs including lighting, power distribution, emergency generation, fire alarm, security, or other electrical systems.
- Ensure cost-effective layouts, quantities/sizes, specifications, and verify code compliance.
- Prepare and lay out BIM drawings and coordinate with all other disciplines across schematic design, design development, permitting, and construction documents.
- Support construction administration with site observations, shop drawing review, and preparation of punch lists.
- Maintain strong client, partner, architect/owner, and code official relationships and communication throughout projects.
- Revit MEP proficiency required; familiarity with other engineering software programs.
- Travel up to 10-35% for site investigations and client meetings as needed.
Salary: $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
