Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a Contract with a client in Torrance, CA. Candidates must possess significant experience in circuit design integration, testing, and electrical engineering for aerospace applications.

Rate Range: $80/Hour to $85/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Lead requirements review activities and ensure alignment with aerospace electrical system specifications.

• Perform electrical, power, filter, and EMI analysis to support the development of advanced aerospace and eVTOL systems.

• Design and develop electrical schematics, EMI filters, and Printed Board Assembly (PBA) layouts.

• Conduct DO-160 lightning protection and compliance-related design activities for aerospace applications.

• Mentor and train junior engineers on electrical analysis methodologies, design practices, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Support project execution through electrical design, layout development, and PDR (Preliminary Design Review) preparation and presentations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Power Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.

• 12+ years of experience in electrical circuit design, integration, testing, and aerospace systems development.

• Strong experience with electrical analysis, power analysis, EMI/filter design, schematic development, and PBA layout design.

• Hands-on knowledge of aerospace standards and tools, including DO-160, DOORS NG, ELM, MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, or equivalent electrical design and analysis platforms.

Pay Details: $80.00 to $85.00 per hour
