Engineering Jobs, Wichita, KS Electrical Engineer Integrated Consulting Engineers (ICE) is currently seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to join our team. ICE is a multidisciplinary firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems design, engineering, and commissioning. The company was founded in 2006 with a vision of providing innovative professional engineering services to architects, owners, design-build contractors, developers, and municipalities.This position requires the ability to complete basic engineering design tasks involving building power distribution, lighting design, energy code compliance, and low voltage system design. In addition, this position requires the responsibility of developing construction documents, specifications, engineering calculations, RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, site investigation, and overall construction administration. The candidate will represent the firm in all interactions with architects, clients, contractors, and other project team members. Passion, self-motivation, and strong leadership skills are necessary to deliver excellent design solutions for our clients.Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering is required.Professional Engineering licensure is strongly preferred but not a requirement.A minimum of five years of experience in building systems engineering is desired.The candidate should have the ability to execute the design and preparation of contract documents with minimal supervision.The candidate should have the ability to assist clients with planning the power and lighting aspects of projects.The Candidate should be capable of managing project scope, schedule, and budget.Knowledge of AutocadMEP and/or Revit, along with knowledge of basic building codes, is required.Strong communication skills, a desire to learn, the ability to self-manage, and interpersonal skills are essential.Compensation and Benefits Compensation for this position consists of base pay at a competitive salary rate with overtime paid at an additional 1.0 x hourly rate. Additional benefits include:Medical and Dental Insurance, with employee coverage premiums paid at 100 percent401k with 3 percent salary matchTwo weeks (80 hours) of paid vacation time per year, with one additional day of vacation awarded for every year beyond five years of service.
