We are seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to support the design, analysis, and execution of engineering projects within the energy infrastructure sector. This role works under the guidance of senior engineers and contributes to projects across oil, gas, LNG, CNG, propane systems, and renewable energy facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare engineering calculations, schematic designs, layouts, and technical reports
Analyze maps, drawings, test results, and aerial imagery to support project planning
Apply fundamental engineering principles to solve technical challenges
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support energy system development and operations
Utilize engineering software for data analysis, calculations, and reporting
Participate in client meetings, including occasional evening meetings
Electrical Engineering Responsibilities
Specify and evaluate electrical equipment and process instrumentation
Design lighting systems for industrial facilities
Perform electrical studies, including load calculations, arc flash analysis, cathodic protection, and lightning protection
Size and specify conductors for power distribution, control systems, and communication circuits
Select and specify protective devices (e.g., fuses, circuit breakers)
Develop technical deliverables, including:
One-line diagrams
Wiring diagrams
Panel layouts and schematics
Cable schedules
Identify hazardous (classified) locations and apply appropriate design standards
Support PLC-based system design and integration
Develop P&IDs from Process Flow Diagrams
Support progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
Perform additional duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
