From high-performance data centers driving the future of AI to dynamic commercial environments, your work will directly support technological advancement, sustainability, and human experience.In the role of Electrical Engineering EIT/Coordinator , we'll count on you to:Perform assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of electrical engineering techniques and proceduresWork directly with owners to develop recommendationsReview electrical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplinesWrite/edit electrical specifications, select equipment and electrical devicesTake on contract administration responsibilities requiring field inspections and conflict resolutionMake decisions on significant design and engineering features as neededFunction as a Project Manager on small and mid‑size projects as needed, but project management is not the principal focus of the positionSupervise work of Electrical CAD Technicians and coordinate design of assigned projects with architectural staff and other engineering disciplines as neededPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasisCandidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Coordinator" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm2+ years experience designing electrical lighting, power, and systems for building projects; EITExperience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not requiredRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasisDesire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registrationStrong computer skills using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and Easy PowerAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must#LI-EV1Primary Location: United States - Minnesota - Saint Louis ParkOther Locations: United States - Minnesota - MinneapolisSchedule: Full‑timeEmployee Status: RegularJob Posting: Mar 30, 2026At HDR, we are committed to the principles of employment equity.We are an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
