Electrical Engineering Manager

The company vertically integrates hardware and software to build advanced robotic platforms leveraging computer vision, embedded systems, controls, and electromechanical design to solve complex national security challenges.Backed by highly technical founders with multiple successful exits, the team operates with a deeply engineering-first culture focused on speed, technical excellence, and deploying systems that have real-world impact.They are seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and integration of the electrical systems that power their autonomous platforms. This individual will combine strong technical expertise with engineering leadership, helping define system architecture, mentor engineers, establish best practices, and scale the electrical engineering function as the company grows.The position will initially begin remotely, before transitioning into an on-site role based in San Jose.What You'll Do:Lead the design and development of embedded and power electronics systems for advanced autonomous robotic platformsOwn electrical architecture decisions across embedded systems, power distribution, communications, and control HardwareManage, mentor, and develop electrical engineers while helping build and scale the teamCreate and review electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and system-level designs with a focus on reliability, manufacturability, and performanceDrive technical execution across hardware development programs from concept through deploymentCollaborate closely with software, firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering teams on full electromechanical integrationEstablish engineering processes, design reviews, validation procedures, and development best practicesSupport hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, field testing, and system validation effortsBalance hands-on engineering work with leadership responsibilities as the organization scales#J-18808-Ljbffr
