Position OverviewOur client is a well-established manufacturer of advanced motion control and power electronics products used across industrial automation and other demanding applications.They are seeking an experienced DVT Electrical Engineering Technician to support the Design Verification Test team. This person will help verify industrial analog and digital motor drives, including power supply products with mixed-signal interfaces and communication ports.This is a hands-on lab role for someone who is comfortable working with electronic assemblies, test equipment, schematics, soldering/rework, troubleshooting, and test data collection.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and prepare electronic assemblies for testingProbe and measure small and large electrical signalsBuild, crimp, and support cables and harnessesPerform soldering and rework on SMT boardsTroubleshoot and characterize new electronic designsFollow and implement procedures to verify hardware designsPlace thermocouples and support thermal profiling of new and existing designsAcquire, organize, and document test results for engineering reviewParticipate in testing activities for new designsProvide feedback to Engineering on product designs and test resultsPerform additional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience as an Electronics TechnicianExperience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, hi-pot testers, and temperature scannersAbility to read and analyze circuits from schematicsHands‑on troubleshooting experience with electronic assembliesStrong organizational and planning skillsAbility to manage multiple projects or test activities at the same timeStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Word and ExcelRequired EducationAssociate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical education/experiencePreferred ExperienceExperience with communication protocols such as RS-232, RS-485, CAN, Ethernet, or EtherCATData acquisition operation or programming experienceProgramming exposure in C#, C++, VBA, or VB.NetThis position is subject to ITAR requirements.
