Manage schedules, clients, and workload
Attend meetings with clients and take diligent notes
Attend job site walks to observe existing conditions and construction progress
Design and manage electrical engineering projects from conceptual design through construction
Perform Electrical Engineering Calculations including voltage drop, fault current, and arc flash
All other tasks assigned.
The Skills
AutoCAD, Revit, and Design Master
Codes & Standards including the CBC, CEC, CFC, CGC, IES, NFPA, & ADA
Utility standards including SDG&E, SCE, PG&E, etc.
Technical writing including Basis of Designs and specifications
Construction administration including RFI's and submittal reviews
The Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Professional Engineering License desired
5-years of experience in the MEP industry
Licensed to drive in CA
The Work Environment
The Compensation:
$80,000-$130,000 depending on experience
The Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently sits at a desk, working on a keyboard or mouse.
Must be able to climb ladders and survey construction sites.
