We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing and well-established electrical contractor in the Dallas, TX market. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated estimator who enjoys working on commercial construction projects while playing a key role in the company's continued growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and pricing of labor, materials, and equipment.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotations.
• Develop detailed bid proposals and scope reviews.
• Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and clients throughout the bidding process.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and industry partners.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits when needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Accubid, McCormick, ConEst, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

• Commercial, healthcare, education, and mixed-use project experience.
• Design-build and negotiated project experience.
• Knowledge of current electrical codes and industry standards.
