Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive estimates for complex electrical projects.

This position requires strong experience in heavy multifamily electrical construction, along with commercial and industrial estimating experience. The right candidate will combine field knowledge, technical accuracy, and speed to produce reliable bids and support successful project execution.

  • Build complete bid proposals and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, project managers, and field teams to confirm pricing
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, job walks, and site visits
  • Identify constructability concerns, scope gaps, and potential cost-saving opportunities
  • Evaluate project risk and clarify bid assumptions and exclusions
  • Track bid results and help improve estimating processes
  • Support project handoff, buyout, procurement, and subcontractor negotiations
  • Maintain organized bid files, estimates, and historical pricing data
  • Assist with value engineering and alternate pricing when required

  • At least two to three years of electrical estimating experience
  • Strong experience estimating heavy multifamily electrical projects
  • Commercial and industrial electrical estimating experience
  • Proven understanding of electrical systems, installation methods, labor productivity, and material requirements
  • Proficiency with AccuBid, Bluebeam, or similar estimating and takeoff software
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents
  • Strong working knowledge of the NEC and applicable local codes
  • Ability to prepare accurate estimates within bid deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, subcontractors, field teams, and company leadership
  • Associate degree in Construction Management, Electrical Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to travel throughout the Colorado Front Range as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Colorado Journeyman Electrician License
  • Experience with BIM, Revit, or AutoCAD
  • Strong knowledge of the Denver construction market
  • Experience with large multifamily developments, commercial facilities, and industrial electrical systems
  • Familiarity with project handoff, buyout, and value-engineering processes

  • Annual salary of $75,000 to $110,000, depending on experience
  • Two weeks of paid time off to start, increasing with tenure
  • Six paid holidays annually
  • 401(k) plan with company match
