Are you a skilled electrical estimator ready to take the lead on exciting, large-scale construction projects? The Waldinger Corporation — one of the region's most respected mechanical and electrical contractors — is looking for a sharp, driven Electrical Estimator to join our Des Moines team.
What You'll Do
You won't just crunch numbers — you'll shape the deals that build our future. In this role, you'll:
- Lead the bid process on large and complex electrical construction projects, from concept to close
- Build and mentor a high-performing estimating team
- Own client relationships, marketing Waldinger's services and earning the trust of general contractors
- Drive consistency and efficiency by developing and refining bid procedures and standards
- Manage project data with precision, maintaining a robust database of project history to sharpen future estimates
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience estimating complex electrical construction projects
- Associate's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management — or equivalent technical training
- Bonus points for experience with McCormick estimating software
- No travel required — plant your roots and grow right here in Des Moines
