We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator with a valid Journeyman Electrician license to join our team. This role combines hands-on electrical knowledge with estimating expertise to prepare accurate cost projections for electrical and lighting projects in commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. The ideal candidate will leverage field experience to evaluate project requirements, develop bids, and collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project execution.
Journeyman License is required
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate electrical cost estimates.
- Conduct material takeoffs, labor analysis, and subcontractor quotes for electrical work.
- Apply knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards to develop reliable estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements.
- Maintain and update estimating databases, cost histories, and bid documentation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.

$40 - $45 an hour
