We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join a well established and growing team in the Kansas City market.
<\/div>

This is a role for someone who is detail oriented, driven, and looking to grow within the electrical construction space. You will play a key role in building accurate, competitive estimates while working closely with internal teams and external partners to bring projects together from the early stages.
<\/div>

This opportunity is well suited for someone with estimating experience or a strong field background who is looking to transition into or further develop within the estimating side of the business.

What You Will Be Doing<\/b>
<\/div>
Review project plans and specifications to build complete and accurate estimates
<\/div>
Develop material and labor cost breakdowns for proposals
<\/div>
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to gather and evaluate pricing
<\/div>
Analyze equipment and system costs, including opportunities for value engineering
<\/div>
Review project scope for potential risks and cost considerations
<\/div>
Assist in pricing general conditions and indirect project costs
<\/div>
Maintain and update historical cost data to support future estimates
<\/div>
Prepare and present detailed proposals to internal stakeholders
<\/div>

Requirements<\/h3>
  • Two or more years of experience in electrical estimating or relevant field experience<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>
    • Background in electrical construction, either in the field or office<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred but not required<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong organizational and time management skills<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Comfortable working in an in office environment<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience with Trimble Accubid will set you apart from other<\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>
      Preferred Skills:<\/b>
      <\/div>
      • Background in the field as an Electrician, Foreman, or General Foreman<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Strong understanding of job site logistics, labor productivity, and project flow<\/span><\/span>

      • Ability to identify risks and think beyond just material takeoffs<\/span><\/span>
