Key Responsibilities – Experienced Electrical Estimator

  • Prepare detailed electrical takeoffs and cost breakdowns for plan/spec and design-build work
  • Analyze blueprints, specs, and addenda; draft and refine scope letters
  • Validate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing; manage bid RFIs
  • Coordinate with project managers to align estimates with execution plans and risk profile
  • Maintain estimating databases and assumptions; track market pricing and lead times

Qualifications – Experienced Electrical Estimator

  • 5+ years electrical estimating experience including design-build
  • Proficient with estimating software; Accubid/Anywhere preferred
  • Strong NEC code proficiency (2020 and prior) and engineering best practices
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word; blueprint and spec interpretation
  • Team-oriented, self-directed, reliable problem solver (ESFI)

Physical Requirements – Experienced Electrical Estimator

  • Prolonged computer work; frequent sitting
  • Occasional standing and walking during site visits
  • Lift/carry up to 25 lbs of drawings or samples
  • On-site office environment with periodic construction site exposure
  • Occasional local travel to jobsites
