We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator/Project Manager to lead the planning, estimation, and execution of large-scale electrical projects. This role offers an opportunity to manage complex electrical systems, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure project success from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in electrical installation of conveyor systems for baggage and package handling systems, construction estimating, and project management, combined with excellent leadership skills to drive efficiency, quality, and safety on every project.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and comprehensive electrical estimates by analyzing project drawings, specifications, and scope of work using construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or similar tools.
Lead the project planning process by developing schedules
Manage all phases of electrical project execution including system design review, blueprint reading, and construction drawing analysis to verify compliance with local electrical building codes.
Oversee procurement activities during the permitting phase by coordinating with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary permits.
Coordinate construction schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans proactively to meet project timelines while controlling costs within the established budget.
Supervise on-site activities related to electrical systems installation, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and contract specifications.
Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), submittals, and progress reports to maintain transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead project team meetings, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and resolve issues promptly to keep projects on track.

Qualifications
Extensive experience with construction estimating software
Strong knowledge of electrical installation principles, system design, schematics interpretation, and blueprint reading.
Understanding of electrical codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 standards for safe electrical installations.
Proven ability to manage large-scale electrical projects from initial estimate through completion while controlling costs and schedules.

Skilled in contract management, project budgeting, cost management strategies, and risk mitigation techniques.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, vendors, regulatory agencies during permitting phases, and internal teams.
