We are looking for a dedicated Estimator to join our team and specialize in providing accurate cost estimate for commercial and industrial electrical projects.
Location: Russelville, KY
Responsibilities:
Analyze project requirements, specifications, and technical documents to prepare detailed and accurate estimates.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather essential project information.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assess project scope, materials, labor, and equipment needs.
Develop comprehensive estimates including material costs, labor projections, equipment expenses, and project timelines.
Maintain up-to-date pricing databases and industry benchmarks to ensure competitive and precise estimates.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client consultations to clarify project requirements and respond to questions.
Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project scope and cost.
Utilize estimation software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial and industrial construction, with a focus on HVAC and electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
Proficiency in interpreting complex technical documents, including blueprints and specifications.
Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills for client and team interactions.
Familiarity with estimation software is a plus.
Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or relevant certifications are advantageous
