    About this role:
    The Electrical Field Specialist performs commercial electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and small‑project installations across a variety of commercial facilities. This role requires a valid Journeyman Electrician License and strong technical skill in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in active, occupied buildings.

    Preference to candidates located in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.

    Compensation:
    • $35.00 - $40.00 per hour pending experience and active state electrical license. 
    • Travel expenses paid
    • Vehicle provided
    • Fuel card

    Travel:
    • On average 2–3-week sprints in Texas
    • Most projects are in Texas with some locations in nearby states.
    • Housing (Airbnb) is paid by company, travel to and from project is covered as well as per diem. 
    • Company vehicle is provided

    Duties / Expectations: 
    • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
    • Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
    • Familiarity with commercial building systems, including lighting controls, switchgear, and distribution equipment
    • Apply advanced knowledge of electrical theory and NEC code
    • Perform NEC calculations
    • Execute all types of conduit bends using various bender types
    • Install raceways, boxes, cables, panels, breakers, and transformers
    • Assist with wire pulling and switchboard installation
    • Install light fixtures, devices, and cover plates
    • Connect branch circuits including terminations and equipment
    • Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems
    • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
    • Maintain basic knowledge of control systems and components
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    Requirements: 
    • High school diploma or GED
    • 2+ years in a commercial specialist/service service role.
    • Expert-level troubleshooting skills in a commercial setting.
    • Must have ability to run and lead small-size projects (1-4 electricians)
    • Possess an active state Journeyman electrical license
    • OSHA 10 certification
    • Ability to pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check

    Requirements (Physical requirements will vary between job sites and peak periods)
    This is a field job using many physical attributes. In addition to sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time, employees should be able to do the following:
    • Walk, climb, lift, bend, squat, kneel, push, pull, twist, and reach overhead routinely and repetitively. Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
    • Regularly work from elevated spaces for extended periods of time, including ladders, man lifts, scaffolding, or reach booms. Climb ladder with 30 pounds.
    • Balance on normal work surfaces.
    • Comfortable in tight spaces (occasionally).
    • Reach, handle, grasp, and pull cables, wires, tools, and equipment.
    • Focus close up and far away (with or without correction). Distinguish color coded wires. Use peripheral vision and exercise depth perception. 
    • Flexible, adaptable, and embraces change.
    • Good troubleshooting ability. Embraces quality control processes. Good attention to detail. Follows process and procedure.
    • Speaking, hearing and seeing for communicating with employees and outside resources, as well as managing risks of a construction environment is required.

    Working Conditions:
    Work is performed on construction sites in a variety of weather conditions. Travel nationwide, up to 100%, sometimes with short notice (non-travelling short-term jobs are available from time to time depending on project availability). Shifts and hours vary by project but will include night and weekend shifts.
