Electrical Foreman -- Charlotte, NC

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead electrical crews and oversee commercial and/or industrial electrical projects in the Charlotte area. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage crews, coordinate with other trades, maintain jobsite safety, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment for assigned projects.
• Install, troubleshoot, and inspect electrical systems as needed.
• Coordinate work with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Ensure work is completed according to the National Electrical Code (NEC), project specifications, and company standards.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
• Train and mentor electricians and apprentices.
• Track job progress, materials, and labor.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact the project schedule.
• Perform quality-control inspections and ensure work passes required inspections.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience preferred.
• Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman or Lead Electrician.
• Strong knowledge of commercial/industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
• Working knowledge of NEC requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• OSHA 10/30 and electrical certifications are a plus.
