Commercial Electrical Foreman

Spratlin Electric is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead field operations on commercial projects throughout the Columbia, SC area. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced professional who takes pride in exceptional workmanship, jobsite safety, and guiding teams to successful project completion.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, supervise, and mentor electricians and apprentices on active commercial job sites
- Manage daily field operations across one or multiple commercial projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Oversee installation of conduit, panels, switchgear, transformers, lighting systems, and power distribution
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, NEC requirements, and company safety standards
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades
- Maintain productivity, quality control, and jobsite organization
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide practical, field-ready solutions
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction
- 2+ years of experience in a foreman, lead electrician, or supervisory role
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Proven hands-on experience with commercial wiring, lighting systems, panels, and distribution equipment
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a focus on teamwork, accountability, and deadlines
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- South Carolina Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
