We are seeking experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to join the Lakey team. Qualifications:
Must possess an active Texas Journeyman License
Strong communication and leadership skills
Experience with overseeing a crew of 2-10 electricians; apprentices and journeymen
Ability to track production metrics and address poor performance when needed
Ability to to ensure production deadlines are met
Experience with working on high profile jobs
Attending meetings, identifying conflicts, and resolving problems
Must be familiar with organizing and planning, directing work, inspecting installations for quality, making sure code standards are met, and ensuring job safety
Experience interpreting and understanding schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications required by our clients
Ability to follow electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems
Strong working knowledge of job site safety
Experience working with hand tools, power tools and electronic test equipment
Troubleshooting skills
Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s license and means of transportation
Ability to work quickly, efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
Must have high standards of integrity and professionalism
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience as an electrician, 2 years of recent Foreman experience
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC codes and regulations
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, schematics, and blueprints
Experience with construction estimating and creating accurate bids
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
