Foreman Position
The Foreman will be the direct first line supervisor with responsibility for employees involved with the installation, addition, alteration, and maintenance of commercial/industrial electrical construction projects. Per diem, travel expenses, tablet, and company vehicleprovided. Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for scheduling and direction of skilled trades on an electrical construction project
- Ability to supervise and coach employee's quality and productivity in a professional manner
- Ability to client out work and ensure crew has proper materials, tools, and equipment required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals
- Time sheet management
- Ability to manage and lead multiple crews simultaneously
- Keep project compliant with local and national electric codes
- Monitors work as performed, directs subordinate crews, and schedules work around other subcontractors
- Manages office correspondence and administrative paperwork
- Daily/weekly reporting to Project manager or project team
- Responsible for crew/project safety performance
Requirements include:
- Medium to large sized commercial/industrial electrical project experience is required
- Distribution center experience is a plus
- Journeyman's license and OSHA certification preferred
- 10+ years' direct hands-on electrical field experience is required
- Willingness to travel highly valued
- Excellent team management, reporting, and communication skills a plus
- Ability to train and coach employees as needed while maintaining a positive team-oriented environment
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, physical exam, and drug screening
