Summary: 

• Resolves all technical issues relating to physical and electrical routing of wire harnesses.

• Produces and maintains wire harness assemblies using CATIA V5 Electrical and Sheet Metal Work Benches.

• Interfaces with wiring diagrams, systems, and EMI/EMC requirements.

• Assigns wires and cables to correct harness assembly based on EMI/EMC and system separation or functionality requirements.

• Meets all installation and maintainability requirements for wire harness routing.

• Applies aerospace engineering knowledge to wire harness design and routing.

• Uses CATIA V5 Electrical for wire harness design.

• Ensures compliance with EMI/EMC and system separation requirements.

• Interfaces with wiring diagrams and systems for harness design.

• Applies knowledge of physical and electrical routing for wire harnesses.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related curriculum applicable to the job, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 13 years specific technical discipline or 15 years broad engineering experience in several technical disciplines with Bachelor's.

• Experience credit for related advanced degrees limited to 2 years for Masters and 4 years for PhD in fields applicable to this job.

• Knowledge of CATIA V5 Electrical is required.

• Aerospace experience is required.

• Capable of resolving all technical issues relating to physical and electrical routing of wire harnesses.

• Ability to produce and maintain wire harness assemblies using CATIA V5 Electrical and Sheet Metal Work Benches.

• Ability to assign wires and cables to correct harness assembly based on EMI/EMC and system separation or functionality requirements.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer skills (PC/MS Office) required, with strong organization and attention to detail.
