Electrical Helper

Key Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• Pull wire through conduit, cable trays, and other routing systems.
• Measure, cut, and prepare wire, conduit, and electrical materials as directed.
• Assist with installing outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, panels, and other electrical components.
• Operate hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively.
• Load, unload, and transport electrical materials, tools, and equipment around job sites.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and assist with job site setup and cleanup.
• Follow all company and job site safety procedures, including wearing required PPE.
• Identify and report safety hazards, damaged equipment, or unsafe working conditions.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors and electricians.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or electrical helper experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical tools, materials, and installation practices.
• Experience pulling wire and assisting with conduit installation is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50-75 lbs regularly.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to pass required screenings, including background checks, drug testing, or site-specific requirements.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Work performed at commercial, industrial, and construction job sites.
• Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting materials.
• Shifts may include early mornings, overtime, and occasional weekend work based on project needs.
