Electrical Inspector – Solar Project

Location: Alice, TX

Duration: Immediate Start – End of September (Contract)

Overview

We are seeking Electrical Inspectors to support a utility-scale solar project in Alice, TX. This is a field-based inspection role focused on performing visual quality inspections of installed solar arrays. This is not a hands-on electrical position—inspectors will not be performing installations, repairs, or electrical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of installed solar panels, racking, and related electrical components.
• Verify installations meet project quality standards and specifications.
• Identify installation deficiencies or discrepancies during inspections.
• Mark and document any issues found within the solar arrays.
• Report findings to the onsite Construction Manager for corrective action.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and daily reports.
• Follow all site safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience on utility-scale solar projects preferred.
• Construction or quality inspection experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of solar installations or electrical components is helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify installation issues.
• Comfortable working outdoors and walking solar sites for extended periods.
• Ability to document findings clearly and communicate effectively with project leadership.
