IMPORTANT: HIRING RATES WILL BE BASED ON AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS, THE APPLICANT'S QUALIFICATIONS, AND OTHER RELEVANT FACTORS.
Appointment may be made at any rate within the salary range from SR-19C ($4,933) to SR-19I ($6,242) per month.
Inspects and tests electrical installations and equipment in all types of buildings and structures, including multi-storied buildings, for compliance with approved plans and specifications, permit scope, electrical codes, accepted safety standards and other pertinent ordinances; and performs other related duties as required.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
This is the journey level class in the Electrical Inspection series.
This class differs from that of Electrical Inspector I in that the Electrical Inspector II performs electrical inspection work in a variety of buildings and structures, including multi-storied buildings and structures, whereas the Electrical Inspector I performs electrical inspection work in buildings of limited size and scope and assists the Electrical Inspector II in inspecting more complex commercial, industrial and multi-storied buildings and structures.Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
