Work with the project manager to establish on-site install work requirements, determine what is needed at the site to keep customer acceptance moving forward, meet schedules, and daily review install tasks of work activities.
  • Writing detailed step-by-step install procedures based on crane install activities.
  • Design and build all required cabinets/temporary power panels required to successfully perform the installation. These would be worked out based on the tools required to perform the installations.

This would include supporting the electrical engineer with the Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) procedure, step by step, with the customer to prove the install equipment works as intended.
  • As the electrical install engineer, you will be doing all the necessary checklists and various tests (e.g. Point to Point, Ground Resistance Megger checks, etc.) are performed, the results of these are listed as pre-requisites for the SAT test. The SAT test also contains necessary hold points (as decided by the customer) for various quality checks and approvals prior to continuation (e.g. successful inspections after the load tests, successful testing and operation of the Protection System and Safety Functions).  At the conclusion of the SAT test, backup install operations are repeated to ensure the latest software snapshots and parameters are saved to the system Laptop.
