Electrical Instructor – Data Center Delivery Track
ForgeNow is seeking an experienced, safety-focused Electrical Instructor to lead a rigorous 3-week (150-hour), hands-on training program preparing students for entry-level electrical construction careers in data center environments (~12 course convenings per year). The instructor will deliver a blended curriculum combining classroom instruction (~40% of hours) with intensive lab-based, skills-driven practice (~60% of hours), covering everything from foundational safety and trade math through conduit installation, device wiring, electrical theory, troubleshooting, and final evaluations.
This role requires an individual who can balance technical trade expertise with strong classroom facilitation skills, mentor early-career learners, and instill the safety culture, work ethic, and technical competencies required for success in commercial and data center construction environments.

- Balance classroom instruction with hands-on lab time (targeting 60% lab hours per week) to reinforce theoretical concepts through applied practice.
- Teach and assess proficiency in: PPE use, jobsite safety, GFCI and continuity testing, trade math and blueprint/symbol literacy, tool identification and mastery, conduit layout/bending/installation (EMT/rigid), wire pulling and device wiring, meter reading, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, Ohm's Law and DC circuit theory (series/parallel/mixed), fault troubleshooting, and NEC code navigation.
- Facilitate OSHA 10 certification training and ensure all students complete required certification requirements.
- Guide students through a hands-on capstone build, including project documentation, upload/submission, and final presentation.
Safety Leadership
- Model and enforce jobsite safety culture at all times, including daily stretch & flex, pre-task briefs, hazard walks, and safety briefings.

- Conduct mock interviews and provide constructive, individualized feedback to prepare students for employment.
- Track and document student progress, skill verification/sign-offs, attendance, and completion records.
Assessment & Program Administration
- Administer skills verifications, knowledge checks, and the final evaluation/program review.
- Maintain accurate training records, certification documentation, and student performance evaluations.
- Provide feedback to program leadership on curriculum effectiveness and recommend improvements.
