Position Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Technician- Rotating Shift (Dupont)
Pay: $30 - $39/hr
Location: Conyers, GA
Employment Type- Direct Hire
Position Summary:
We are seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment. This role focuses on electrical systems, instrumentation, PLC troubleshooting, motors, valves, and plant reliability.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical and instrumentation systems
- Diagnose issues with motors, valves, VFDs, and process equipment
- Support PLC and control system troubleshooting, modifications, and upgrades
- Assist with DCS maintenance and system improvements
- Provide electrical and controls support for plant projects and maintenance activities
- Read electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Participate in an on-call rotation and support emergency repairs as needed
Requirements:- 2-5+ years of industrial Electrical & Instrumentation experience
- Experience troubleshooting plant equipment, motors, valves, and instrumentation
- Knowledge of 480V electrical systems and industrial controls
- PLC troubleshooting experience; programming modifications are a plus
- Experience with VFDs and process control equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot complex systems
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in an industrial environment
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with ControlLogix or similar PLC platforms
- DCS troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of pressure, flow, and temperature instrumentation
- Excel and basic computer skills
