Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
The salary range for this position is $106,000 - $136,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.

Conduct comprehensive daily inspections of electrical and IT systems across building and terminal construction projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and project specifications, review and interpret construction documents including blueprints and shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
Demonstrates strong proficiency in preparing comprehensive daily inspection reports that clearly document the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, and HOW of all observed construction activities, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and accountability in tracking progress and identifying issues, deficiencies, or safety concerns in a timely manner.
Verify contractor compliance with local and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70, 70E, 72) and LAWA-specific standards.
Track and document time-and-material work, field changes, and job quantities
Assist in validating contractor progress payment requests based on an approved schedule of values.
Support special inspections and testing activities, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and third-party agencies as needed.
Perform inspections of electrical installations including, but not limited to:
Underground utilities and duct banks
High-voltage switchgear and electrical panels
Conduit racks, conductors, and grounding systems
Interior and exterior lighting systems
Fire life safety systems including smoke/heat detectors and FM-200 suppression systems
Electrical shutdowns, lockout/tagout procedures, and breaker coordination
Inspect IT infrastructure installations such as:
Low-voltage systems (voice/data, security, access control)
Door card readers, security cameras, and public address (P.A.) systems
Communication cabling and equipment rooms
